LTD MAGMA was founded in 23 February 1996. LTD MAGMA is 100 % Latvian company, which has grown from a small family company to the stable, trusty and dynamic Latvian company. Company is located in Katrinas dambis 18a, Riga with territory of 8117 square meters, where main office, stock and showroom of 400 square meters are located. LTD MAGMA offers to it’s clients maximally full service package from consultations to introduction in commerce.

Deliveries are punctual, prompt and convenient. Quantity of lead in the brass items are regularly controlled because people in the Company bear responsibility for the harmlessness of products in order to avoid that surfaces which are in contact with drinking water and food could adversely affect the human health.

February 23, 1996

A Latvian family establishes wholesale company SIA MAGMA

Goal is to bring the best available mixer taps to the market

A FORD TRANSIT van is the company’s point of sale and office

The first order is 98 mixer taps from Italy

year 1997

The company begins to rent commercial space of 100m² at 2 Katrinas Street

The company’s staff increases to four

year 1998

Turnover in the second year of operation increases several times

The company starts using an accounting program

year 2001

The company buys pre-renovated warehousing facility in Riga, 18a Katrīnas Dambis Street

Construction of showroom-store gets under way

year 2004

The company purchases workbenches and equipment for manufacture of flexible hoses

Materials are shipped from Italy – stainless steel (AISI 304) tubes and EPDM rubber that is suitable for portable water

Assembly parts are made of brass (CW 617N)

year 2005

On November 18, the Independence Day of Latvia, the company’s 400 m² showroom opens

Offices are moved to 18 Katrīnas Dambis Street

SIA MAGMA starts to make flexible hoses

Registered "Magma" trademark

The company sells mixer taps of different brands popular in Europe and Asia

Shipped from more than 13 countries

The company now has an extensive catalog of sanitary products

MAGMA in Pētersala expands to 5,614 m²

The company begins looking for partners in Estonia

The company commences exports to Estonia

The company enters new business areas, assembles mixer taps

Parts from different manufacturers are used, thinking through and testing each new product

Mixer taps are assembled pursuant to the LVS EN – 817:2008 standard, verified by SIA Inženierekspertīžu Сentrs (Engineering Assessment Center) of Latvia University of Agriculture

The mixer taps are now in ECO packaging that dissolves after use

Adjacent warehouses were purchased, now the total territory is 8117 m² large

The Hubbard Management System “Administrative KNOW-HOW Model” has been introduced, which ensures particularly high work efficiency

year 2019

Approved conformity of faucets Magma LVS NE 817: 2018, which is approved by KIWA certificate (JSC “Inspecta Latvia”), which means pressure resistance up to 10 bar

Work has begun on the development program "Responsibility for every drop", which means the development of innovative water-saving products and educating children in kindergartens about the value and importance of water in the world
